Club Quarters-The Best of Downtown Living

Houston is the fourth largest city in the US. Despite its high-rise
skyline, Houston has an open feel and is surrounded by a lush
green landscape with parks and waterways, including Buffalo
Bayou, winding their way through the city.

In recent years, Houston’s Downtown has undergone a dramatic transformation into a dynamic area of the city. The area is a
magnet (and Club Quarters is right in the center) for people who
wish to have dinner, see a movie or a show and walk along the historic waterfront in Sesquicentennial Park. Bayou Place, an entertainment complex in the Downtown Theater District, has
been a great addition to the area, providing restaurants, live music
and a multiplex cinema. More nightlife is a couple of blocks away
on Main Street. Lovers of theatre are well catered for year round,
as Houston is one of a handful of American cities that has
permanent ballet, orchestra, opera and theatre companies.

There are numerous attractions close to Club Quarters that are
fun for the entire family. For sports fans, the nearby Toyota
Center offers the NBA Houston Rockets, the WNBA Houston
Comets, and the Houston Aeros, part of the International Hockey
League. Minute Maid Park is the home of the Houston Astros
and Reliant Stadium houses the NFL Houston Texans.

Houston’s Museum District is just a ride away on the Metro Rail.
Explore the Houston Museum of Natural Science, The Museum
of Fine Arts, The Children’s Museum, The Holocaust Museum,
Museum of Natural Science and The Menil Collection.

Nature lovers can enjoy Hermann Park for jogging, biking, birding,
the zoo, picnic areas and a golf course. The Downtown Aquarium
has over 200 species of marine life as well as a 100 foot Diving
Bell Ferris wheel for an incredible view of the city. Those looking
for a little more excitement can visit Six Flags AstroWorld/Water
World for exciting coasters and water rides. And no visit to
Houston is complete without seeing Space Center Houston.

Did we mention shopping? The Galleria is considered one of the
world’s great retail centers, with over 300 shops, great
restaurants and an ice skating rink.
